Mark Morabito, president of the company, states that: "Crosshair is extremely pleased to welcome aboard a gentleman with such an extensive and distinguished background. Jean's knowledge and experience will strengthen the company and provide invaluable guidance for our corporate-communications efforts as the company and its key mineral properties graduate to an advanced stage in 2004-2005. Jean Cormier joins Derek Wilton, PhD, PGeo, a professor in the department of earth sciences, Memorial University of Newfoundland, and maritime business titan, Chris Collingwood, on the advisory board."

The company also reports the commencement of a backhoe trenching program on its Glenwood Break property in central Newfoundland. The trenching area is highlighted by subcropping and outcropping brecciated, silicified sedimentary rocks containing polyphase-quartz veining with disseminated pyrite and arsenopyrite that have returned up to 2.9 grams per tonne gold from random grab samples.

Several other targets on this property identified from the airborne survey are also being advanced to the trenching stage including an area of high gold-grain counts in till (up to 60 grains of gold in a 10-kilogram sample) where newly exposed quartz veins will be trenched.

Crosshair has commenced a comprehensive exploration program on all of its Newfoundland projects including major drilling and trenching programs that will continue for the remainder of 2004.
