The NordicTrack CXT 990 elliptical trainer has had extremely mixed reviews from purchasers and reviewers. Some users really enjoy their elliptical, while others, who are having difficulty with their machines complain bitterly about Nordic Tracks' customer service and technical support.

The NordicTrack CXT 990 elliptical does come with quite a low price tag, which is pretty standard for ellipticals that retail in stores such as Sears. Home models do not usually stand up to the rigors of a serious exerciser. The are usually less sturdy as well.
